In about 1992 I saw Spurs & Wimbledon play European Games in front of small crowds at the Goldstone. Inter-toto I think. One game was against a Turkish team & their fans made loads of noise in the West Stand. (The only other time I can remember that stand being loud was when Bellotti got chased out). Other than that, I remember little.

Anyone recall who the foreign teams were, scores, known players, why the Goldstone etc.

I think the Turks were probably Bursaspor Kulubu who won 4-0 against Wimbledon. Bursa - a rag-trade hotbed.

The Dons also played Beitar Jerusalem.

Spurs played Luzern, and maybe one more.

wherever the money is
in 95 Spurs lost to Lucerne 2-0 and to Oster 2-1. Both games played on our hallowed turf were done so with a mixture of Spurs youth and reserve players.

I have a program from the Spurs v Luzern game and a signed ball. I'm not entirely sure but I think the Tottenham squad included Simon Wormull, Alan Pardew...i think Rosenthal made an appearance as well? :smokin:
