I think it's understood our first match is almost certainly at home.

I'd prefer an evening kick off but as half the interest in televising us will be the stadium I'm pretty certain it will be a full daylight game. I also imagine the police and club would quite like a daylight finish on the 1st league game too as the infrastructure in getting away from a chokka block ground won't have been that well tested

Maybe. The licensing application was put in for alcohol to be allowed to be served until 11.30pm.

Monday evening for me. Purely selfish reason as it mucks up my pilgrimage to rebellion in Blackpool that weekend.
Obviously Amex come first but if it was on Monday evening i could do both.

Pretty conclusive result, and another vote here for the majority. I might grumble, but tolerate it, if it were Saturday 12:00 (just so we can temporarily be top of the Championship), but anything other than the Saturday would make me most unhappy.

Fair enough, I was talking more about the concourse bars rather than the Supporters Bar or any 1901 club bit.
