The general feeling is we cant afford to pay off mcgee, so if he is in charge till the end of the season, it will be interesting to see where we finish.
My prediction bottom 8:(

Sure thing, if the club can survive on gates of 4,000 and a drop of another thousand in season ticket sales, and a further exodus of the youth talent with nobody to replace them. The following season will be much much worse though.

For some reason yes.

the reason being, we have no money, no one wants to come here, its a dreadful meccano stadium, the manager seems to have problem with certain players who have all left, our stadium saga is getting like "war and peace" and we are no neared getting it solved.

under those circumstances 8th from bottom would suit...wouldn't it?

sorry Dave but that would be a very bad season in my opinion. We've had 2 seasons of stuggling, ok at a higher level, but that has lost some of the supportand another poor season would turn more away something the club cannot afford. We need to be winning games to attract people and keep the money coming in or LDC may get their way and cripple the club

bottom eight is what i expected, i thought all the people predicting a promotion/play off season were living in another world, however id like to see wilkins given a chance, he loves the club, and he would play football. Also i think he would bring the youth players to the first team in the right manner.

There are so many people not going because of McGhee, his actions, lack of strategy and style of play. I feel sick after watching some games - there is something really wrong. Very static formation, which he will not let bend - meaning little movement forward, a lot of work for the front player(s), some nice passing at times and no goal threat. It is sterile and he will not change it come what may.

I haven't felt this way for a long time but I hate watching McGhee's teams, and he must go. Adams, Coppell, and Taylor proved what can be done with astute, cheap signings, loan players and good management.

What is this obession with DW? I find it weird and if MM goes I would hate DW to be given the job, I think we will be in a much much worse position of DW takes over.

It does'nt seem that long ago fans were talking of us being a play off side, Now we're debating if a bottom 8 finish would be acceptable! I think it's essential for the club to finish in the top half of the table.

remember at the end of last season a few of the chairmen wanted mcghee out and they would put the money up to pay him off ( if they wabt to keep mcghee then y couldnt they use that money for buying new players)

I cant understand why we have to pay him off?

He is not doing his job properly so therefore face the consequences and get fired !

FFS if I started acting like an incompetent buffoon in my job, I would expect to be sacked.

Why are football managers treated differently?

Surely he has no grounds for unfair dismissal?
