Those were the good old days listening to live football on Radio Two (?). Live football on TV!!! Only the final.

That first European Cup win by Liverpool in '77 was fantastic. Such a novelty to watch live football on TV

Good news for English Football to have all four teams in the later stages - guarantees 4 places next season.

However it seems a great shame that finishing fourth in the Premiership is more important than winning the FA Cup. I cannot see the likes of Everton or Bolton achieving much in the Champions League myself.
