Depends on how he copes with pre season. If Deano is convinced by his fitness and ability to command a first team place he may well make him captain. If he has any doubts then it over to Hammond. Either way we will have a good Captain.

Stripping Hammond of the captaincy would probably be the most detrimental thing you could do at this stage in his career. Giving it to Oatway would place pressure on the management to play him and that is something we do not want.
