I need an up to date bank statement so can I go into my bank and get one?

I'm with Barclays and the answer is yes. But, all they'll do is log on via the Internet and print the entries ie you can do exactly the same if you have the facilities at home.

Yes, indeed you can have them all for about a tenner. But they'll give you a brand shiny new one on demand at the tiller.

Yeah obvs but I need a statement and I dont have access to a printer right now, so therefore was just seeing if i could go in the bank and get one

Yes you can ... however ...

depending on your Branch Manager (if he/she is not a computer) you may not be allowed to take the printed version away with you!!!
Why? well that's easy... you might drop it/lose it/hand it to someone you shouldn't etc and then your security would be at risk.

As if this couldn't happen with a statement sent through the post ........

SORRY ... you might hazard a guess that i have a MAJOR problem with Barclays at the moment and you'd be right ...

PS ... it's actually more serious than a lost statement
