Sitting here pissed watching the footy like you do and they show Udders (0-0) and Southampton.... shouldn't we at least get the same airplay or do the BBC hate us?

I give up, our air time is a complete joke, it's all about Southampton.

from the bbc's perspective, we have very little to play for as the title is wrapped up from their view.

the battle for promotion for 2nd place is much more contested and we should see our lack of coverage as a compliment more than anything.

The lack of coverage this season is a complete insult. End of.

Everybody seems to now think that the Championship is ours. To be honest a now almost routine 1-0 win against a side with nothing to play for is not that interesting. Just look at it that once we've wrapped this up there will be all the plaudits anybody could possibly want, let our rivals have their moment of glory as we have a lifetime to enjoy ours.

If some people took off their blue and white striped spectacles for a couple of minutes, the Southampton game was live on Sky that evening and, as with all games that have had full coverage they will always show a bit more as the quality of the pictures etc is usually better than the one man and a camera that often misses the action at the rest of the games. Even then (if you were paying attention) they got Nick Halling (a Saints fan but good American Football analyst) to do a dodgy commentary from the studio rather than a proper at the game one. The Huddersfield feature was more about Lee Clark and Terry McDermott than Hudds themselves and is something that is on every week about one club or another.

There are 71 other clubs in the football league so sometimes they have to feature as well:rolleyes:

The BBC League One show has probably given more coverage to Brighton than any other League One club this season. Our manager appears has a higher media profile and appears more regularly on national radio and TV than some Premiership managers. If Gus continues to be our manager in the Championship then I expect that to continue.

Compare and contrast to teams like Walsall or Dagenham and Redbridge or even teams like Swindon who's season has been as compelling as Brighton's but for all the opposite reasons. We're doing okay media-wise. Meridian/South Today whatever are the only media that continue to downplay our success.
