I'm a season ticket holder at Perth Glory. Although it seems we're a club on the decline. We were much more successful on and off the field back in the NSL era.

It was quite gay.

Im sure someone will correct me if wrong.

The old league had the same format as here - play each team home and away

Then the top 6 teams after that go to the play offs

1st and 2nd play off in the first major semi with the winner going to the final.

3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th then play each other in 2 minor semis with the winners of each match playing in the minor final.

The winner of the minor final then plays the loser of the first major semi for a place in the final against the team that won the first major semi.

The winner of that is the Champion

I think Glory lost 4-2 in that game.

I saw the return leg in Perth where we lost 2-0.

But I also flew to Sydney for the final where we won the match that mattered 1-0!

Melbourne Victory fan here, and going along nicely i must say.

Kevin Muscat is captain of Melbourne Victory.

What is it 4 games in now and Kev hasn't broken anyones leg yet, though he did have a bit of a bust up on the pitch with one of his team mates, one of their Brazilian recruits that cant speak English.

Viduka plans to finish his career at the Victory and good chance he'll buy into the club.

As for the NZ crowds, its low because the weathers been shit and its an open air stadium.
