How did the defence get on today? 3 conceded - were we all over the place again? Hawkins?

Could only listen to game on SCR, and aside from first 20mins or so, it didn't sound good

Hawkins taken off at half-time, and I don't think it was just down to fitness.

First half awful. Slightly better when Virgo got put at centre back, but still crap. Colin was awful, Elphick got worse the more the game went on and Whing and Richards were average.

hAwkins was subbed at half time again for being clearly unfit, though this was his best game since the op.

Virgo cannot play wnaywhere well, then in central defence, so please play him there.

As has been said, Elphick was solid, and faded away

The full backs were ok, didnt do anything.

Great block for the first goal, no one reacted to the loose ball. Slack marking in the middle for the 2nd goal a minute later. Kuipers at fault for the 3rd goal, maybe shouldnt have come charging out, and stranded himself a bit being so far out the box

But those 2 strikers are the best we will probably face this year, but ltets see after the Peterborough game

Every time Beckford was on or near the ball the defence panicked. He was prepared to run at them, twist and turn, and we seemed to be taking it in turns to bring him down and get booked, as there was no legitimate way of stopping him.
