Well with 4,000 on the waiting list with up to 4 tickets per purchase, rumours around 500 so far do not want to renew. So how many season ticket holders did we have last year? 17,500 to 18,500. Come on do your maths or have a guess, how many S.Ts will we sell next season?

considering i was thinking we may have struggled to sell 14k last season , and dont mind being proved wrong again, i reckon it will be around the 20 k mark , that itself is outstanding mind.

17.5k + hospitality at the moment, am I right? So call it 21.5k 'basic' STs for next season less the non-renewers. I reckon 20k-ish, although my guess was far exceeded last season so I'm more than ready for it to be more.

..........

Agreed about 20-21k............who put 25k? with over 2500 away fans ( anyone know exact number?) that would leave none for general sale, not possible is it?

Including 1901s, we had 18,400 STHs last season. I'd think 95% will renew, which is a drop off of just over 900. We also have 4,000 on the waiting list which I would conservatively guess means another 5,000 bums on seats.

So if the club wanted to sell them, I reckon 22,500 season ticket holders is not out of the question. They might choose to cap this figure some way below 22,500 to ensure there are enough tickets available on a match by match basis.

However, our highest ever league average gate is distinctly on the cards IMO.

I think 22k as we have 18k atm there was over 2k on the waiting list (nearer the 3k mark MP said) so that that would take it up to 21k mark almost but then some people want 2, 3 or 4 tickets so add that aswell and that will take it up to 22k nearer the 23k mark, I think 22k - 23K will be the limit as the club have to sell tickets also by a match by match basis. So we could see awaiting list even after the 5K extra seats go in.

22k+ STH's should be the target.

Only a fool would not sell as many ST as possible, far less match by match hassle & potential 10/20 year DD income stream, no reason at all to increase matchday sales so I'll go for tops 23.5k...extraordinary really (where will that put us in a ST league table?)

I reckon we might make a shade over 22K including corporates, with an average attendance (actual bums on seats as opposed to tickets sold) of around 23-24K as long as we are doing okay. Expect less away fans (less local games next season and for most we won't be on their new ground tick-off list). Everyone on the waiting list is getting an invite to a presentationas far as I can see so unless we get promotion I reckon that nearing peak attendance for us.

In terms of the Championship, that would put us top. As a comparison, Wolves had 12,000 renew at the early bird price.
