Close but no cigar. It is, in fact, mildly funny in the first instance. However staring at it for any length of time does indeed provoke a chuckle. I think 7 or 8 are the scores you should be looking at.

The taller element is not funny enough. Needs some Photoshop work, dressing the tall element the same as the short, then there's a mini-me thing going on.

The story is funny as its about a short man.
But as a picture its not funny. Unless your talking about: Santa, the state of the road (In the back ground) or the state of the buildings. But even then its not really funny.
The 2nd picture in the artical is funier, as it has two dogs who are clearly after his dinner.
