This afternoon I am going to cancel a room in Cardiff for the Sunday night (the night after the game).

However, I want a brighton fan to get it so if anyone wants it, PM me and I will tell you (give me your number and i will phone you the second i get off the phone) as soon as i cancel it so you can phone up and get it.


It is a nice double room for two adults (King bed) overlooking the castle and within walking distance of the Millenium Stadium. It has mini bar, Playstation, bathroom (with bath and double shower), phone, fax and is, according to the brochure pretty good all round. Oh yeah, and the TV has internet access (so you can even go on nsc). Security is, I am told, very good so you shouldn't get mugged in the lobby or something!!

The hotel has most stuff you will need: room service, concierge, swimming pool, gym, baggage storage, laundry service. Don't know if it has valet parking but have an idea it might. You do have to pay a tenner per day to park unfortunately.


It will cost you £130 for the room which includes breakfast the next day for the two of you.

I reckon it will be well worth it for yourself and your partner especially if we win and I will be insanely jealous of you!!

Those two hotels posted above are the only decent ones I could find.

I cant find anything for the Saturday and Sunday night.

Dont forget it is Bank Holiday weekend, and I would suspect there will be many fans from Huddersfield and Mansfield looking to book rooms for the night before their game

I've mentioned it on another thread & I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE BOOKED UP but the Riverside Hotel overlooks the river & the Stadium & has a Brighton supporting waiter. If they are booked its still a convenient venue for pre-match drinks.

Small & not very posh but V. well placed..
