It was me that actually came up with that slogan. It was for one of two banners which we (A21 Club) had made up to take down to Bournemouth that day. It was the same banner we took up to Mellor. The other one was 'Another Fine Mess We're In Stanley'.
Wasn't going to rise but what the heck...
NO it is not as relevant now. We have somewhere in Sussex to play (as tenants), we are not broke (although clever debt management is necessary each season), and the board is not the mixture of clueless oafs, greedy business men and malicious politicians it was back then.
