Sorry if this is old ground, but has anyone brought up the point of why home fans tickets are about four quid more than away fans will pay at the Amex?

Maybe one of you lovely people will put me straight PDQ?

You're not comparing like for like. The home equivalent to the away South Stand is the North Stand and the match price for the North (any odd league tickets and Cup games) is the same as the away price.

The bulk of the match by match tickets available for Albion fans are in the East. These are classified as better seats so cost more.

The Albion actually seem to be treating the forthcoming away support with a great deal of respect imo.* I bet there won't be many places we go to this season that won't fleece us to the max. I dread to think what The Porno Twins will be charging visiting fans for their bunch of big-time-charlie cockerny bullshit.

*Not before time really - considering The Great Withdean Swindle...

I really like to think we're treating away fans well too. Probably up until the point I see a Leeds, Millwall or Palace fan do something to damage something at our new ground! (Already having nightmares at how close that TV screen is to the away fans seating!) Still, we won't let them ruin it for the rest of the country, eh?

Well I'm sure if away fans do some damage, then their club will get a hefty bill to put it right.
At least I hope they would.

Mind you, with some teams we'd probably only get 1p in the pound.
