By a member of your family,or a close friend.
Of having or losing something of their's.That you know nothing about.
Then after years,it turns out you were telling the truth.
I find an apology is often in order.

As the only child in a house with 4 or 5 adults (depending if my Dad was home from sea) I was always in the wrong and it was always my fault.

I had this close female friend once - a long time ago now.

Crafty cow nicked my virginity.
Anyway, I did apologise later .....

You should write a book on this, it sounds fascinating.

Yes my brother thought I had his CD's, I insisted I didn't, this went on for a while and then he ended up going mental cause he thought I had half inched them. then he found them under his bed. :dunce:

I was once wrongly accused of having an affair. Apparently everybody who worked in the hotel I was working in at the time knew about it, except for myself and the girl I supposedly having the affair with. It wasn't a small hotel either, loads of people were convinced we were at it.

The news eventually reached my other half of the time (she worked there too). Fortunately she understood that two people of the opposite sex are in fact capable of having a platonic relationship.

Yes but in the reverse - my uncle denied vehemently for years having taken my Nana's VCR player from her house after she died..... he hadn't the "foggiest whats happened to it" he lived miles away up the coast at the time and we hardly visited him....

Strangely enough years later when he moved back his VCR player looked like Nana's - actually it was identical, even with the dodgy rewind button - he didn't even have the balls to apologise..... just offered my Dad $20...

That is scandalous tedebear.

I've been accused of stealing my brothers drugs on more than one occassion but he can't prove shit as I smoke the evidence.

ha - I hide the gear in our house - its not mine but I like to see him sweat when he can't find it  - besides - when my mother visited the scent of fresh grass wasn't high on my list of air freshners, although she probably wouldn't know what it was!!
