20%. I can't see him going for a huge amount though.

Take it thats 20% of anything over what they have already paid for him, anyone know exactly how much we have recieved?

Maybe this will make up for them cocking up in the play offs and costing us the promotion clause payment.

No i think it is 20% of any fee

I think that would be a mistake on Leeds part. Decent player with a lot of promise.

Yes 20% of any fee.

We recieved £450k in two installments I think, plus the £50k for his 20 appearances.

So £500k, plus the 20%. It probably cost us our Championship place, having no specialist left back, or it may have been closer. Some of those draws could have been turned into victories and so on....

TBH I like him. I don't want him to leave us. He was really exposed last year, partly cos we played 4-3-3 so no winger came to track back. Its been the same for his replacement crainey. They've both been slated for it.

Knowing Donkey Dans speciality of gifting goals to the opposition I think it would be more a case of turning those draws into defeats.

I would welcome him back.

Missed him last year - those who say thats not the case look what league Brighton will be starting in next year.

Crainey is rubbish though and deserves to be slated for it.

Dan was going on a season long loan if we'd gone up. They want him at Leeds if he can get himself match fit.

I wonder though, if he does move to Leicester, that he suddenly remembers that Leicester are his second favourite club and has always had a soft spot for them ever since he had a frame of snooker with Willie Thorne!

A specialist left back of any quality may well have helped, but Harding wasn't it. Too busy worried about playing cultured football, to the point where he often didn't just deal with a threat - the only goal of the Stoke home defeat in '04-'05 exactly epitomised what his problem was. Ponced about with the ball right out on the touchline when all he had to do was put it into the Sportsman's garden, lost possession, conceded. Thought we got very good money for him. Noticeable that, once he lost his place at Leeds, he never got it back.

I think the loss of Virgo, Cullip, and Currie had far more to do with us going down than Harding.

Virgo I'd agree with, but we'd already survived half a season without the other two.

I was thinking something the same, I thought he loved Leeds with all his heart and always wanted to be there.
