Is it right that his contract is up at the end of this season?

How long should we offer him?

Personally I'd give him a three year deal.

Good enough to play in the Championship - we need to get him signed up soon - don't want to lose him for nothing!

I believe you are right, signed a 3 and a half year deal back in January 2008.

I just hope he wants a new contract, given the fact he has previously asked twice to go on the transfer list!

It was a different set up when he asked to leave.
I think you can tell by the way he is playing and the amount of effort he is putting in that he is enjoying himself.

I am sure he will stay on the Gus Bus.

Top Player

I really hope your right LG.

His performances, attitude etc.....would indicate that he does want to stay on the Gus Bus, and play at the Amex :amex:

The most important player in the squad at the moment - simply because it is the one position/role where he the only option who can play it.

I head elsewhere that he doesn't expect to be here next year but lets just hope he's had a change of heart.

His 100th game for the club against Peterborough - how's about a hat trick to celebrate?

3 year deal please.

3 years. Just long enough, to still be here, to play alongside Zamora when he re-joins for the 2013/14 season.

Interested to hear where he has said he doesn't expect to be here next year? Certainly hope it's not true as he has even won over the serial doubters this season

Murray could be here in 10 years time and thickets would still be saying he was unhappy and looking to leave at the first possible opportunity.

He seems a lot more settled and happy now. Can't see a prob with him signing new contract myself...

Well his nickname is "one-in-ten Glenn", so that should tell you.

Remember, the cognoscenti are ALWAYS wrong.

Where did you hear that?

Very worried if that's true.

IMO he is the only player in the squad for whom we don't had an adequate (and proven) replacement.
