We grabbed lunch in one today, and for what it is, branded chain, up market Harvester, better than fast food, whatever, we quite enjoyed it.
Nice food, nice menu, nice staff.

We could have had a lot worse.

Is that a fair first impression, or did we get lucky?

Been there quite a few times in depseration for somewhere "family friendly". Avoid it like the plague now.

Allegedly 'Spoons at the Marina does a good breakfast, however, it's like an auction trying to get served at the bar by one of the 2 or 3 underpaid students working flat out.

Thought the menu looked pricey for what they offered but it is sometimes impossible to judge without trying it.

I think that The Sportsmans breakfasts are good value for money.

They give you the bacon and sausage on a plate and you help yourself to how ever much you want of Fried Eggs, Hash Browns Beans Fried Tomatoes mushrooms only down side is no Frioed Slices amd the price doesnt include tea or coffee, but still good value for money just read the Crown Carvery website.

Went to the one in Brighton. Wasn't impressed by the food, service or prices, so not a fan!!
