Maybe so but would add a bit of Butters stability to the back line.

Butters himself would admit he wasnt the most mobile! Besides he gor Elphick and Lynch to do all his running.

Would have been a better signing than Greer, No transfer fee and Elphick would have learned so much from him.
He cannot be that slow as he made PFA division1 team of the year. Well respected
by his fellow proffesionals.

According to my mate who is a Norwich City season ticket holder, Doherty 'found his level' in League 1 and was a liability the previous season in the championship. Would have done a fair job for us no doubt, but not too worried about missing out.

You obviously didn't see his performance at withdean last season.
