Why was it a fluke?Fulham were a very poor side who fluked a win, Bournemouth I thought actually troubled us at times.
I can’t work out if it’s through blinkered spectacles that I don’t remember us doing that amount of cheating/time wasting, I actually thought under RDZ we might become a bit more ‘European’ in style when it comes to that but hasn’t really happened.
Fulham fan found. Why was it a fluke?
They had a game plan, stuck to it, completely knocked us out of our stride and took their chance.
We definitely surround the ref more, Groß and when on The Lana don't give him a moments peace.
Moises and Ali are going to surpass 10 booking each, 90% of which must be professional fouls.
If Forest get something this weekend, all you crying and bitching about Fulham next Saturday will be desperate for their free flowing brand of football.
Gross and AL don’t give him a moments peace ..hardly …currently from what I see (only at home admittedly) it’s Dunk and no one else …oh and if you are looking at bookings ..none last week..Fulham five….still I wouldn’t want to upset/your Fulham lov in here and on the PL threadWhy was it a fluke?

The onus isn't on the opposition to play us in a manner conducive to us winning - unless you're as arrogant as Klipperty.Fulham fan found.
When your game plan consists of anti football, feigning injuries, diving and incessant time wasting in a game against a team who are supposed ‘equals’ based on league position then I’d suggest that’s pretty poor.
It was a fluke because they were bloody terrible, one of the worst sides we’ve seen at the Amex this season and we allowed them to take 3 points.
Watch Gross, next week - then admit to being wrong.Gross and AL don’t give him a moments peace ..hardly …currently from what I see (only at home admittedly) it’s Dunk and no one else …oh and if you are looking at bookings ..none last week..Fulham five….still I wouldn’t want to upset/your Fulham lov in here and on the PL thread

Erm…think I’ll judge that on what I’ve seen..not just one match …he might have the odd natter but not all the time ..in my view …I think we’ve been quite good on that side…but then I didn’t think Fulham were too bad on that score..but heyWatch Gross, next week - then admit to being wrong.
He's now first man to the ref and there all the time.
Yes. Having a game plan that relies on us missing every shot alongside two of our players colliding and then gifting them the ball for a single good shooting chance on target hardly seems like a bulletproof plan to win a football match. Other than that, they’d been prepped to get yellows and fake head injuries in an attempt to break our rhythm.I would agree with this, Bournemouth looked dangerous.
Fulham offered NOTHING.
But 'ball in play' times show that Newcastle, for example, play fewer minutes in the 90 than Fulham do.I’m still not over last week. But I am convinced under Potter we’d have drawn Bmuff and Fulham games - so got to remember that - and football isn’t fair at times!
Fulham’s time wasting was terrible but I think Forest and Villa are the 2 worst I’ve seen this season. And Fulham away too.
Which worked and so we'll keep seeing it everytime we play a team who would like to leave t'AMEX 'a point gained'.Yes. Fluke is kind. It was totally undeserved, ridiculously lucky and quite simply unfair to the game of football. It really was.Fulham fan found.

I definitely think Brighton has turned a bit more Italian than before in terms of furbo. Bit more diving and bit more harrassing the ref. Not more than most teams though.Fulham were a very poor side who fluked a win, Bournemouth I thought actually troubled us at times.

Not sure I disagree with most of what you say Swannie …but I do re harassing the ref…we are very much the captain doing the talking….course next week Gross will be sent off for verbally abusing the ref in the tunnelI definitely think Brighton has turned a bit more Italian than before in terms of furbo. Not seen much time wasting specifically though. That said, can't think of a game where Brighton would have actually wanted to waste the time - haven't often been leading with just one goal late in the games under RDZ, so difficult to tell what it would look like.
In some scenarios the coach doesn't have much of a say when it comes to these things. If you're team has had a tough game but are one goal up with five-ten minutes to go, players are going to start wasting time regardless what the manager says or thinks. Quite natural behaviour. Doing it throughout the game is a different fiver.
