I already have a particularly good Stranglers CD, including greats like Peaches and Golden Brown, why would I want to sully my reputation and buy a right wing rag like the Mail?

1. The 1000 greatest albums of all time free with the Mail wouldn't entice me to buy that facist rag (nail on head Clown of Pevensey Bay)
2. It's the post-Hugh Cornwell Stanglers. Nuff said.

Cant buy that rag, and were the Stranglers punks? Pub rockers I think

I saw them supporting the Who in 79 at Wembley - Black and White was the album they were plugging. They were good and to cap it all my Mail buyingg colleague at work has just given me the CD as he does not like them. Its going to be a good day!

Stranglers top band and use to play in a working mens club in Chiddingfold, Surrey a few miles up the road from were i used to live.

What with Mike Rutherford and Phil collins and the Great "coo-ca-choo" Alvin Stardust all living within a few miles.

If only i had been a groupie!

:)

Have got the last 2 Albums they released. Norfolk Coast was the Studio one, followed by Coast to Coast which is Live stuff And must have been from the Tour to promote Norfolk Coast. I Guess this MoS CD was taken from the same Tour.

Both are Good Albums

I sacrificed Brighton at home to Arsenal the same evening. Hugh Cornwell announced the score 0-0.
