4-5-1

Not saying it is a good idea, but that it is what it will be.

8-1-1 would be good, but the midfielder needs to be aware of his defensive responsibilities.

it's funny because it's true

I think he will try the same tactics he did at West Ham.

Sod 8-1-1, think we should try the old 9-0-1

Southampton used to do that quite a lot in the 90's, but then when your 1 is a certain Mr Le Tissier, you can get away with it.

I'm sure it'll involve something stupid with Charlie up front on his own and Leon playing as an over-lapping fullback-cum-winger-cum-physio, but I'd like it to be 4-4-2. We need to stop messing around with the formation, and concentrate on our own strengths.

Who gives a shit as long as we get a point?

We are playing away from home against one of the best teams. I would expect Currie and Knight to start on the bench and Claridge to be upfront on his own.

wherever the money is
it will be 5-3-2 in my book with Harding and El Abd bombing down the wings and Hinsh playing behind Butters and Cullip

I think he'll play 4-5-1

Clarridge

Currie Oatway Nicolas Carpenter Knight

Harding Butters Cullip Reid

Kuipers

Bench:
Roberts, Hinchelwood, Hart, Hammond, Jones/El Abd

This gives him good options for holding on for a nil-nil or defending a (sneaky) lead. He could also very easily switch Knight up with Clarridge to a conventional 4-4-2 (more attacking) if we go 2 down. It also err's on the side of experience
