Just to be clear this table shows attendance at the Amex and our away attendance at the corresponding away match

Thanks for the update , the away following at Barnsley (if it is a crucial game) will boost the figures slightly.

The Birmingham figure does not include me as I was in the away end. Can you re-do please and adjust the average accordingly :)

These figures also dont show the 100 or so that just pay on the day and sit with the home fans, as I often do when leaving in it to the morning before deciding to go to the game!!

Let's have a look at what the 'Amex factor' actually does relative to their averages with some analysis:

Doncaster - 1443 (+688) Big first game of the season, new stadium.
Blackpool - 1440 (+37) Standard.
Peterborough - 1408 (+208) Standard.
Leeds - 2361 (-1169) Small allocation for them, Friday night and rail problems.
Palace - 2458 (+819) Naturally would've sold more if they could.
Hull - 1527 (-22) Standard.
West Ham - 2401 (-624) Small allocation for them.
Barnsley - 814 (-245) A little bit far.
Coventry - 1791 (+1024) Amex Factor?
Forest - 2402 (+963) Amex Factor?
Burnley - 983 (+93) Standard.
Southampton - 2422 (+251) South coast 'derby'.
Bristol City - 2152 (+1338) Amex Factor?
Leicester - 2323 (+112) Standard.
Millwall - 2357 (+1364) Pretty close, nice new stadium (to smash). Biggest difference from the average.
Ipswich - 2429 (+1150) Amex Factor? - clearly brings out some idiots too.
Cardiff - 758 (-434) Long way for midweek.
Portsmouth - 2422 (+1294) Big South coast game, interestingly the same number of away fans as the Saints game? ???
Derby - 768 (-715) A bit far for midweek.
Middlesbrough - 2072 (+389) Impressive following considering the distance, but not too much higher than their average?

Make of that what you will.
And yes, it's the holidays so I have spare time

Applying the word "disgrace" to a below average away following always makes me chuckle. A disgrace? Really?

As for Coventry, well there are good reasons why their fans are so apathetic at the moment - mainly the issue of who owns the club.
