I was quite impressed at times at the football we tried to play. We looked ok in the first half. Main thing is the lack of confidence running through the club. Coming from the fans and the way the players reacted. I know I haven't had to suffer like others but there were very negative comments being shouted at towards the team.
We could easily have gone 1-0 up, we might have been robbed, was it over the line ? We played some good passing football and then got punished with slack marking for the first. A very good ball inside Hoyte for the second. But overall I thought we were the better side in the first half.
Charlton just had too much about them and killed the game in the second half.
I'm looking forward to the Colchester game and as Gus said in the Argus I'm sure we will start picking up the wins we require.
