Falmex: Right so this grass growing thing

Anyone know what happens here? Do they lay the seeds at the same time as the synthetic stuff or has the seeds for real grass been planted already and then they tie it in?

I believe the seed is planted at the same time as the synthetic stuff. As this gives the roots of the new grass something to bind with. Making it grow quicker and stronger. ( this was said on my presentation - anyway)

There are synthetic fibres in the soil (already there) and synthetic blades of grass (f*** knows how they get there). Hope this helps.

So when does the seed actually go down?

It was always mentioned that the pitch would be laid in March but we're into April and my understanding is its not down yet.

With the mild weather over the last couple of weeks have they missed a trick?
