Falmer Stadium Site and Coach Park - simply not beautiful enough

OFFICIAL.

The Inspector's Report on the Public Inquiry into the future boundary of the South Downs National Park will recommend that the stadium site AND the coach park site are EXCLUDED from the National Park.

Which means that he wants both areas stripped of their AONB status as well.

I think he is a very wise man.

Paving the way for a big YES, and no room for an appeal from LDC??

I dont want to put a dampener on this, but this is only a recommendation, doesnt mean it will necessarily happen though

LDC will probably produce delays in a year or two times asking for a review of where the financial investment will come from and that the money is worth it

Just cant get excited yet

INto enemy territory this Sunday. How shall we make our mark?

Are the council buildings within striking distance of the Lewes Priory ground? I shall practice my slogging!

If it's anything like the last Falmer decision, it'll be when the courier arrives with the decision documents at Donne Mileham and Haddock. So normal office opening hours, I'd have thought.
