The transcript of Blair's interview got me thinking while I was having a piss just now.

Say Prescott tuns Falmer down (I don't think he will, but...)

Could we overrule the minister's decision with the use of an Act of Parliament? There was, after all, an Brighton Marina Act that allowed the construction of the marina.

And the EDM shows Falmer has plenty of support from MPs.

Any legal experts or Lord B know about this one?

Parliament can't even deal with a simple thing like removing civil liberties that have been in place since Magna Carta.

I doubt if they'd be up to something as complicated as an Albion Stadium.

Those of us who remember the passage of the Brighton Marina Bill will recall that the whole thing got delayed for a year as a result of one Labour MP (with a weekend flat in Brighton) who used parliamentary procedures to throw a spanner in the works.

I'm still sticking with Option One - win the Public Inquiry.
