Harty: just an idea. There is one certain way of ensuring a politician will get a message and that is to get something onto Radio 4's Today programme. Could you or Andrew Hawes suggest to the Today programme sportsdesk that they interview Dick Knight about the stadium situation, sometime over the next couple of weeks. There are some quiet sports mornings when they're struggling to fill the airtime - see how often they repeat an 07.25 interview at 08.25. If you or Mr Hawes could give them a good strong appraisal of the story - there's every chance they might get DK on at some point. Prescott, like every other MP and minister, listens intently to the Today programme or his officials do it for him and brief him. He would hear the argument direct from the horse's mouth. Worth a shot?
