There are other words that end in 'gg.'

One is 'tegg', an alternative spelling for 'teg.' It is a British word for a yound sheep or sometimes a young doe.

Also 'bigg' which is a type of barley.

And 'clegg' which is a type of horse fly.

And then there is 'jagg' as in jagged, which can also be spelt with one g.
