I think ordinary emulsion is the best bet. Probably need a fairly small brush for the fine detail work.

I used a staple gun and a signed shot of Paul McCarthy. Ignore that plan, as the picture was lost, along with my aridly striped cape, in one goal celebration that left me in a naked fever.

I'd advise chalk and thin rocky clumps. Or copse bics.
