Have it on in the background. AUS 235/6, with 6 overs to go.

Not much notable has happened, bar an outstanding flying catch from Carse on the square leg boundary to dismiss Smith (the cheat).

Spinners go for about 5 an over, we bring pace back unnecessarily and they go at 15.
Genius

Australia currently hitting what seems like EVERY ball for a boundary.

England going to be chasing 300+

Australia are better than us to start with.

Playing a series where Australia put up their best players (Starc, Hazlewood, Smith, Labuschagne, Zampa, Green) and we field a rag-tag bunch of fringe players, one day 'specialists' and untried kids, is asking (and deserving) to be smashed.

Seriously who gives a crap about these games? The whiff of going through the motions to fulfil a contractual obligation. This has been one of the most mismanaged summers I can remember by the ECB, priorities all wrong.
Spot on.

Play these games in July/August, there might be some interest.. not at the end of September FFS.

Much like the way they treated Matt Mott this is desperately disappointing. Time for the white ball reset.

I remember when watching England play white ball cricket used to be fun
