the last one was great, if it aint broke dont fix it so a room in a pub with a bar will do me nicely!

Back in Sussex
If I find some reasonable paying adverts I could put them on NSC and everyone can have a click-athon for a few months.

The proceeds could fund a buffet and/or some 'free' drinks.

I would agree with that. If we have a proper function room etc then it's going to involve cost and someone collecting money etc

It also takes away the element of people making their mind up on the day.

I feel it would result in fewer numbers

A function room doesn't have to cost. It doesn't have to be a sitdown meal so anyone could turn up. It may also mean we can stay there and drink ..er i mean chat...for longer. It may also mean that some of the younger posters don't have to worry about getting into clubs after.

That would be excellent. A few people asked about food the other night but that costs money and would probably involve some kind of ticket scheme. Not ideal, it would be like moving from The Goldstone to Withdean. Sort of.

Thought last Saturday worked fine, room was about the right size for the numbers involved.

I must sort out accommodation beforehand next time.

Ah sweetie. Although I do appreciate that there aren't enough of us to go round - although we tried our best. :lolol:

Yorkie invited Aussie Seagull along after the match but she didn't show. Thank God, because she is gorgeous. :lolol:
