Is it worth checking in online, or is the queue for the bag drop as bad as for check-in?

The bag drop is poor.

Last time I used EJ at Gatwick, we arrived with plenty of time to our flight to Berlin. However the queue was absolutely mental as it was for every flight.

Luckily, they saw sense and let the people on the earlier flights go straight to the front. I'd still try my best to avoid it though and check in online and have just hand luggage.

EJ saves money by doing its business via the internet. Take the hint - check in online!

Checked in online and the bag drop queue was longer than the regular check in queue. Pointless unless you only have hand luggage.
