Thanks to The Auditor for fishing out from the murky waters the Albion accounts from 2005.

So, the loss is 1,074,001. But, what about money raised from transfers? Is that included

And to quote insider the 'losses have been met by the club's directors.' So, if the losses are met.....surely we aint in debt?

Seeing as the club is a business that publishes its accounts, those accounts will be made up of the income and expenditure of the business.

Is money made from transfers an income to the business?

As far as the debt is concerned you can't just make a over million pounds disappear from a balance sheet. If certain debts have been paid by the directors then it'll just show as a debt in a different place.

hardly murky waters. they are publicly available!

The loss is based on all trading - that's what accounts show. Transfers are trading just as much as selling tickets or shirts.

We are in debt is the losses have been met by loans from directors or banks. Share capital is an asset, loans are a liability. The first thing this board did when Archer was finally off the scene was to convert loans as at that point to shares to stabilise the club.
