Did or Has anyone seen those flying objects?

I am looking out the loft window from the Preston Park area and at first could see 8 or so glowing objects flying towards the direction of Hove, although they could have been as far as Worhting, but you get my drift, that direction.

Some then disappeared then came back and now i can see 4! They are flying too close together to be planes and are bobbing up and down in the air. Please look and tell me I am not alone in seeing this or is there some kind of air show going on, but at night?

Sky Lanterns! Apparently various companies will be able to deliver by Saturday, but I am not entirely convinced. Would rather have them in my hands and take them to the wedding.

I could make my own, I guess.
