Did anyone hear this on Womans Hour this morning?

In a discussion about the prevention of HIV, it was mentioned that circumcised men are less likely to contract the condition than uncircumcised men. The studio expert then went on to describe a range of measures that might help prevent HIV infection, concluding with this truly memorable phrase...

"Circumcision is a tool that is hard to roll out".

Fits of suppressed giggles from the women in the studio.

I didn't hear the giggles. I was to busy feeling pleased that I had a 60% less chance of contracting it.

The circumcision-reducing-infection-chances thing has been entirely debunked anyway... only two things actually reduce the chances of infection, condoms and not f***ing around.

I knew a bloke that used to circumcise people for a living. The pay was crap but the tips were good.

Boom, boom.

I tried to listen to it, but the signal wasn't very good.

I was cut off before the end.

I even went to Listen Again just to hear this gem. Sadly the giggles seem to have been completely suppressed now.

Far more shocking even than summary circumcision with a rusty razor was Lord B's reckless excision of the apostrophe from Woman's Hour [which the BBC should surely have named Women's Hour anyway.]

Harrumph... further lowering of standards, now infecting NSC's normally punctuation-perfect moderator... letter to the Telegraph, etc....

This post could even render me liable to a ban, I suppose.
