Well credit to the chairman, he has answered questions for two days running now. Are you any the wiser?
I just think the McGhee out club can shut up now, at least until the end of the season.

There was nothing really new from him, all facts stated and disputed over the last few weeks.

I'm a McGhee outer.

Someone stood up and shouted at McGhee in D block today and I was the first to tell him to sit down and shut up. I support the managment during the game as doing anything else is useless. However I still don't McGhee has done a good job at this club.

It was a smooth performance by the chairman. In a perfect world, probably should have happened after the Coventry cup exit or the closing of the January window, but better late than never. Knight's words were full of logic and when I look at the likes of Rotherham or Crawley, I thank my socialist God that we have him.

Sorry he wasn't a bit more supportive of MM personally. It was a very definite nothing happens before the end of the season. Probably very shrewd but he has left a sword hanging over MM's head re next season

I agree LI. If he had said this earlier a lot of people may have kept of MM 's back.
He stated that he was managing in very difficult circumstance's and that some of the players attitude had made man management hard.

That's an interesting nuance - I am genuinely torn between your viewpoint and one that says Knight should give no blank cheques to anyone at this club, whether it be McGhee or any player, or comment on "what if..." relegation scenarios.

I am satisfied though that from what I've seen at Home Park last week and today that McGhee is getting close to the best out of this squad of players, and I think, stress think, Knight is of that view too. :)

Intresting to hear Dick's answers .. The question i tried to ask was .."ok we havent signed any strikers , but why did the likes of Dichio and
Shipperly turn us down.. was it wages was it MM or was it really crap facilities "..Its plainly clear we cant sign anyone on loan especially the older seasoned pro so why is that ?

Probably a combination of both but like LI says we don't want to do a Rotherham do we ?

I thinks it's pretty obvious really. Put yourself in those players shoes. Given the choice of Preston, Sheffield Utd and Brighton who would you choose if you based your decision on a purely selfish career point of view.

I reckon if we are relegated MM will still be with us next season with a review and possible exit if we do not look in sight of the promotion spots after about 12 - 15 games.

MM is capable of bringing us back up (if we go down) but if we seem off the promotion pace by Novemberish then any reasons for him to stay could no longer hold up.
