I disagree.

I think it is fortunate that the attack is not life threatening. I don't want this **** to have an easy way out. I want him to suffer the torment of not knowing when the next attack is coming but in the knowledge that it most certainly will.

There was an article on the BBC today detailing that the government is bringing in a monitoring scheme where all home schooled children have to be registered and their education tracked. Of course resources to do this might be the big question.

So charge the parents directly and in full for the monitoring visits.

As a parent of an electively home educated child I really appreciate your support.... A child who would gain no benefit from school education, trying to be forced into a pigeon hole, but benefits greatly from one to one with people he knows!

My ”choice” saves the taxpayer, and ultimately you a lot of money - so why should I then be further penalised by having to pay for an assessment for what is currently a statutory right.
