These bigshot owners mat be worth a bit but how much of it is liquid and how much of that are they willing to risk having seen the last 2 chairmen carted of in wheelbarrows?

If they are talking about a sale I bet its Zaha and they wont get the silly offer bolton made when they where desperate. 2 million with add ons max. Zaha was a dick for signing a 5 year contract, i bet hes regretting it.

Lets be honest here. They may have loads of money but how many time do our fans say to Palace fans things like: "haven't you learned from your last big spending exploits?" and "why don't your board spend anything then?" and then in the same sentence take the p!ss for NOT spending like maniacs...

I know its because of the Billy Big Balls fans who come on here about their unspeakable and unending supply of money. Shame its also unavailable to spend...

Ask Garvan, Murray and Wilbs about that.

That comment was not meant perhaps as you took it.

You have to admit that you are not an attractive club to play for at present ?

The only reason a player would sign for Palace at this moment is because you are offering the most money thats available to them.... hence Murray.

And Palace like us are not paying anyhing like as much money as most clubs in this league.

Therefore both of our Clubs have a very hard job trying to convince quality players to sign for us, we have the edge with brand new facilities however.

Murray went to you for more money, Garvan would not have got anymore coming here, and would not have been a regular, Wilbs...only rumour we were after him.

Reading have been in talks with Palace about one of their players, said to be a midfielder or striker.

Must be Zaha, their local press man said to expect outgoings before any incomings.

Can't possibly be. Reading aren't TOP FOUR of anything (except perhaps in Berkshire??) and they can't afford the £10bn price tag with sell-on clause either.

Problem is keeping Palace solvent with there crowds etc is going to be very difficult, and will always mean selling your best players and young talent.

There are a lot of teams that get by like this.

Ask Garvan, Murray and Wilbs about that.

Seriously, do you think Garvan and Muzza are pleased with their choice of club after last season, and the early signs for the next one? Won't comment on 'Wilbs' since no Brighton connection...

All three picked Palace over Brighton.

Not convinced Wilbs did TBH... however, the other 2 did, but I asked do you think they regret it now?

We will run our club properly seems to be the message of CPFC2010 if that means a relegation scrap for a few years then so be it.
If that means taking 4 points off you Scumwall and The Clowns and having to live off frees and our academy kids then what's wrong with that?

Nothing at all but chances are you'll be doing it at least a division lower than you are now in the not too distant future. You probably won't enjoy it much either. This is a strong league you'll do well to survive in it selling your best players adn using youth.

Agreed, but should that be his ONLY motivation?

He would have been a bit foolish to think he was going to join a promotion chasing team, or that Palace weren't going to be selling/losing their better players

One of your Ex players (can't remember who) said he tried to convince Wilbs to sign fro Brighton but he picked Palace.

Agreed, but should that be his ONLY motivation?

It's rumoured he was under significant financial constrains due to issues with his misses and nipper up north to which the CPFC signing off fee would have gone some way in rectifying,
