.......and if there's anyone there who can take my 10 spot for the Nap challenge and pass it on to whoever won PM me by the lunch break and I'll weigh 'em out

Promises to be an interesting day after Sussex battled back well yesterday. Lancs were 286/4 and Mushy skittled them for 335 and the unbeaten openers added 51 before close of play. Only 86 behind now - time for two BIG innings from these two.

Doing OK in the first half hour...62-0 for no wicket but there's a long way to go. If these two could survive until lunch we're in with a chance but that's a big ask.

Someone in the first three has to put together a big innings.

Wardy's gone...Surrey reject. It's down to Minty and Monty to save us now.

94-3 now. Monty and Grizzly have gone.

Remember what I predicted yesterday that Adams and Prior would score fewer than 50 between them. They are two batsmen who rarely make runs when the going's tough.

Now's the chance for Prior to prove that he's test class (and to prove me wrong). Slim chance though. Could be over by teatime.

Of to the ground I go,
ho hum
at least it's a beautiful day

Didn't Innes knock up a ton asgainst Notts last year? Prior was magnificent with the bat last season, Mushy's capable of a lively cameo, Lewry's batting last year came on hugely (not difficult admittedly) and Akram might get half a dozen

If our tail can 'do a Surrey' the bowlers could have 170 or so to bowl at and we might have a game on our hands

here's hoping

That was pathetic. We scored fewer than Law did on his own.

Told you that Adams and Prior would flop...just didn't expect the rest of them to fold so quickly.

Very poor. Even though Lancs are favourites with most pundits this year, that was a pretty abject capitulation.
