so thats 56 behind then, great response from the openers. at start of day would have been happy to be in this position with a couple wkts down so this a real bonus. psychologically it would really change the game if these two could get those 56 and we started building a lead with 10 wkts to spare. todays the day when we dont want the middle order wobble!! one (or both) of the openers needs to go on to make a big 100 supported by two or three 50's. leave them 300 plus and we really have a good chance. heres hoping.
