Did you think our development squad could take on (and come top of) the conference?

If they had a pitch to play on each week like the one yesterday, with the extra dimensions and ball skimming across the grass, im not sure other teams could compete, they never really had to get out of second/ third gear and had plentiful possession.

Battling through the winter months in some mud bath might be a different story but they looked very promising nonetheless bearing in mind these guys are effectively our third choice team.

Years gone by we would have been hoofing it all over the place at first team level let alone at this level so we've come a long long way. I 'd certainly consider going to watch them again as they play good football. exciting times.

Brighton
Crawley 3/1 to win the league (ridiculously short!). Next in the betting - Bristol Rovers at 9/1

Crawley have already spent more than all the other L2 clubs, another season of on-field success but massive unpopularity beckons.
