War.
So you could do that machine gun noise:

"DDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Marvellous.

I wonder if kids play Occupying Forces and Insurgents nowadays.

I had a cracking Russian machine gun when I was about 6 or 7, one of those ones with the circular magazines. It was really loud. Then a couple of years later I got a Sten Gun. I guess it's true then that you do get more right wing the older you get.

WAR....HUH......GOOD GOD'YALL......what is it good for? absolutley NOTHING say it agaaaiin....

Springsteens cover was GENIUS!

Two little boys had two little toys
Each had a wooden horse
Gaily they played each summer's day
Warriors both of course
One little chap then had a mishap
Broke off his horse's head
Wept for his toy then cried with joy
As his young playmate said

Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Jack and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys

Long years had passed, war came so fast
Bravely they marched away
Cannon roared loud, and in the mad crowd
Wounded and dying lay
Up goes a shout, a horse dashes out
Out from the ranks so blue
Gallops away to where Joe lay
Then came a voice he knew

Did you think I would leave you dying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon be flying
I can go just as fast with two
Did you say Joe I'm all a-tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys

Do you think I would leave you dying
There's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon by flying
Back to the ranks so blue
Can you feel Joe I'm all a tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys

War, definitely.
Particularly Rambo style traps and torture.
One of the joys of living near the downs.

Walking around the playground, arms around shoulders:

"Who wants to play.....WAR!"

Age 10?

No wonder I joined CND.

I want one of these mothers, then I can play war with you guys:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

A friend of mine got an excellent game on Playstation recently called 'Cowboys & Indians' - you are a cowboy and you get to kill loads of Indians. I loved it so much I went out and bought it, I haven't got Playstation so I bought the PC version - it's nowhere near as good, in mine the invading cowboy scum have to go out and fight the Native Americans. Boom boom.

In the back lanes of North Portslade in the 70s we only ever played WAR!!! Bring it on....
