Three Bridges and Peacehaven & Telscombe served up an incident packed 2-2 draw tonight, meaning Saturday's season-closing game at Jubilee Field between TB and Rye Utd will be a winner-takes-all title decider

TB are two points ahead of Rye, so a win or a draw will clinch the title, and Rye would have to win to nick it by one point, having also picked up a 2-0 win in tonight's RUR Charity Cup final against Selsey at Culver Road...

Will be a tad tense I should imagine

Just as interesting (or not), if Three Bridges lose and Lancing win at AFC Uckfield then Three Bridges will end up in third place and not be eligible to be promoted to the Ryman League.

Or more probably the new London South league as currently being evaluated...

Didn't the TB manager head butt a player?

He certainly did, and got 'sent off' for his troubles. Add a penalty for each team, and the ref limping off after about seventy minutes, with a Johnny-on-the-spot taking over running one of the lines, and it all got a bit surreal :)

Not a bad day for Sussex football yesterday (Obv. not including BHA  ).

Three Bridges clinched the County League, Lewes booked their place in the Ryman Prem. play-offs, and Whitehawk won the Ryman South division, leaving just Crawley to be thumped, by relegation-dodging Hereford. Will have to wait a bit longer to see how they fare :)
