That Somerset team is mental! Journalists were saying at the beginning of the season they had a long-tail because Hussain was at 8, now he's at 6!

But is there any reason why Trescothick, Suppiah, Butler and Trego won't get enough runs between them...?

Somerset DEALING in boundaries at the moment, 12/0.

Was thinking about going down today, probably be there in time to see them reach the 300 mark. What were we thinking having a bowl first? :nono:

Conditions this morning will be conjusive to bowling plus the wickets at Hove appear to have got better as the matches have progressed this season. This is backed up by 4th innings scores generally being the largest of the match.

Last two Championship matches at Hove our 4th innings totals have been:-

459-9 vs Lancashire
187-1 vs Notts

2 quality sides with excellent bowling attacks.
