What ABOUT those (no names), who capitalise THE wrong or inappropriate word, or the MOST spurious one, just TO show how ineffective they are AT highlighting AN important issue, despite BEING *cough* trained journalists.

personally i think people should be PUNISHED for incorrect use of the lower case and unacceptable punctuation as well as abusive capitals, its bad english.

As part of my degree I did a course on professional communication and one of the lessons was demonstrating how easily a recipient could get completely the wrong idea from a poorly worded or punctuated email. It was very interesting but I bet very few people who use email for work have had any kind of professional training.
