"You can enter an URL of your avatar"

How do I turn the giff picture file I have into a URL??

Sorry, but I'm totally Internet/computer-dumb (or as MYOB would say, I don't know my SCSI-import tracker WuGGler 3.0vi interlinked GLOOP board from my elbow.)

If the picture is on your hard drive you need to host it on the web. Go to www.imageshack.com and follow the directions for uploading a picture. They will then give you an URL that you can copy and paste.

But your link takes me to a site selling prints from Russell and Tracy Higgins which, while nice, isn't quite what I want to do.
