Just saw Millard grilling him on Meridian News. He repeatedly asked Coppell whether he would be in charge at Withdean on Saturday. Coppell was squirming, chuckling, laughing, tyring to slither out of answering the question and was clearly very uncomfortable....eventually he succumbed and said "Yes, I will be at Withdean on Saturday".

It was like getting blood from a stone though, so I wouldn't bet on it.

I agree with you Yorkie. When he says he's thinking it ovr, he's doing just that. I have a lot of respect for the man, ex-palace or not. He's never said one thing and then done something completely different.

If he ends up going, I for one will wish him well. He's done right by us in his time here, and respect is due for that. If you can't do that, then that is your problem.

Millard was like a pit-bull with that question though, he wouldn't let it lie ! I've never seen him so determined to get an answer.

Coppell: "All I am concentrating on is preparing the team for Saturdays game".

Coppell looked anything but comfortable with Millard (but then maybe thats understandable). He was hesitating and picking his words very carefully. His whole demeanour screamed "I'M OFFSKI" I'm afraid.
