All had great games today, hope they don't get disregarded by Gus... Surely JFC and Cook have to start again against Wrexham- This is their chance to break into the first team!

at last it looks like the Albion youth set up have developed something other than a good defender (ie JFC).

They all deserve to keep their places after that display.

Did we see the benefits of Gus's overall plan with all ages playing the same system? The kids have slotted in seamlessly

All should hold their place. Just keep it going. Side had a fresh feel to it that we haven't seen for many games.

I thought Hall was particularly good. Not afraid to attack. Seemed quite fast. Comfortable on the ball. They have no FEAR these young players.

Thoroughly agree.

Hall was excellent when he came on, you'd never guess that he was being thrown in at the deep end in the way he looked so composed and keen to get involved in everything on the left.

JFC was superb too, he earned his MOM award on merit. Some great touches, good awareness and willing to get forward - his goal was well-deserved. Gus will almost certainly have to think more carefully now about leaving him out of the 16 when more players are free from injury/suspension.

As for Cook, he put in a solid performance and looked like the loan spell at Bournemouth has done him the world of good. Fantastic job in keeping Lallana relatively quiet. With another suspension and another injury again for us today though, maybe Gus would be best off keeping him for the rest of this month, or better still, cancelling his sale altogether!

Great news to have these youngsters. Really want them to keep their places until they look jaded. Will at least gives others time to think about what they need to do to get back into the team

I hope all talk of Cook being sold to Bournemouth is finally squashed today. He's a quality defender as was proved today. Much as Dunk is also quality, The combination of Greer & El Abd looked more solid & organised to me. If Dunk has a flaw, he can lose concentration at times. Not often, but enough times to have been costly.

As for JFC? Fantastic performance! Hopefully he'll get an extended run in the team.

Hopefully Gus will now reflect. All put in a great shift but wouldn't have been there without the "crisis". Time for Harley to move on and for Gus to show a bit of faith
