Conundrum on Radio 2

[The Large One]

The organiser of the Glastonbury Festival has said he is being tight-lipped over the fact that he is lining up a headliner for the 2007 festival. The headliner - and this is the important bit - is a band which he is very excited about booking, was massive, and has not played together since 1971. Above and beyond that, he won't say who it is. We'll all find out in the fullness of time, but anyone got any ideas?

The best I can come up with is The Beatles, but that is a bit tenuous seeing as half of them are dead.

The Monkees were mentioned, and they did ake some fine songs, but is it worth getting excited over them? Plus I think they did a couple of re-unions in the mid 1980s.
